The Jacu is the first Brazilian coffee from Kalle Coffee Roasters. The high-quality beans of the Arara variety come from the Cerrado Mineiro DO region, where they are cultivated by the farmer Maria Soraia Guimaraes at an altitude of 950 meters. The naturally prepared beans are primarily suitable for use as filter coffee, but also cut a fine figure as an espresso from the portafilter machine.
Chocolate and Blackberry
In terms of taste, the Jacu presents itself as a chocolaty filter coffee with a sweet blackberry note. In the finish, a citrus note provides the necessary freshness. A mild acidity fits the balanced taste profile. During the preparation in the portafilter, the blackberry note and the lemon clearly come to the fore, rounded off by a fine nougat note. Thanks to the balanced body, the Jacu Brazil can also be enjoyed pure as an espresso.
