Sweet notes of Arabica and Robusta beans from Ethiopia
The double espresso from the Moyee roastery is a high-quality blend of 70 % Arabica beans and 30 % Robusta beans. Washed limu beans were combined with unwashed jimma beans. The coffee beans were medium roasted in Ethiopia. The limu beans have a fruity character and pair perfectly with the sweet notes of the jimma beans. The Double Espresso has a harmonious taste of brown sugar, fruit and warm cocoa.
Beans roasted directly on site in Ethiopia
The beans for Moyee's Double Espresso grow in the jungle at an altitude of 1,600-1,800 m. Biodiversity is preserved in this coffee region, even monkeys can be found there. Moyee works with more than 650 farming families in Limu and Jimma to secure long-term livelihoods. After harvesting, the coffee berries are washed and dried. But even unwashed, some of the beans are placed in the sun so that they can develop their sweetness. After processing, the coffee beans are roasted at the local roastery Moyees in Ethiopia.
